Norville’s was created by Mayura Norville, the baker, maker, and master behind these indulgent premium cookies. Our brand is rooted in the joy of simple pleasures. It’s not about solving all the world’s problems, but about the comfort that a really good chocolate chip cookie can bring.
Mayura draws inspiration from her husband, three sons, and one daughter infusing each recipe with family, tradition and a whole lot of love. Baking at the Norville’s is a family affair, and these special moments and memories are at the heart of everything we make.

At Norville’s, we believe in the power of family and tradition. Founder Mayura, a first-generation immigrant and mother of four, pours love and dedication into every cookie she bakes. Our award-winning Classic Chocolate Chip cookie embodies the warmth of home, crafted with simple ingredients and the nostalgia of family moments. How to Buy From Norville's
Norville’s Bake Shop is an established bakery serving Los Angeles clients, and sells delicious treats like cookies and cakes across the city. At Norville’s, we bake everything from scratch with high-quality ingredients in our Sherman Oaks cottage kitchen. We offer pick-up by appointment only, and delivery may be available for custom orders. Though our bake shop is closed to the public, we welcome order pick-ups at our front door.
In October of 2023, our Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie won, “Best Chocolate Chip Cookie in San Fernando Valley” here in Los Angeles! That win was the inspiration for Norville’s. Read as Mayura shares more about her baking journey.
A late-night Instagram scroll led me to discover the BakeCamp LA Cookie Competition—a charity event supporting puppies! Unsure at first, I finally took the leap and submitted my cookies.
With just two years of amateur baking, I doubted my chances. But I applied anyway, and to my surprise, I was accepted! Nerves kicked in, but I was excited to compete alongside other talented bakers.
I entered my classic chocolate chip cookie. It felt “too basic,” but I knew it was my best. Although I didn’t win, I got great feedback and five votes—an amazing feeling for my first competition!
More confident this time, I added a red velvet cookie to my lineup. Supported by friends and family, I ended the day in a three-way tie, winning Best Cookie in San Fernando Valley! A dream come true.
The final judging was nerve-wracking. I trusted my gut and submitted my chocolate chip cookie. The judges loved it, calling it nostalgic and perfectly balanced. And just like that—I won the grand prize!

Winning gave me the opportunity to collaborate with a well-established cookie company to create a new flavor, learn industry best practices and provide the confidence boost I needed to invest in Norville’s Bake Shop.
